Muay Legacy Shin & Instep - gray/black
The new Muay Legacy line would be incomplete without the matching shinguards!
These protectors are of course, made in Thailand, so this means that the shins are made in the traditional model and with the high Muay quality you are used to. The shins are made of thick artificial leather and with a lightweight but firm padding. To make sure that your protection doesn't budge during trainings, there are two wide straps with a little bit of elastic and the velcro closures on the backside, one small elastic behind the heel and one wide elastic band underneath the instep.
Complete the look with the Muay Legacy Gloves and even the Muay Legacy Thai shorts to train in style!
The Legacy shin guards have a rounded top part on the shin and do not feature an adjustable instep, this can result in needing to choose a different size than you are used to. If you have any doubts regarding which size to choose, don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help you out.

Size Chart
To help you choose the correct size, we have assembled the guide as seen below. Please keep in mind that this is a guide and not a garantuee to a perfect fit. To choose the best size, please measure from below the moving part of the knee to the top of the foot. Keep in mind that the top part of this shin guard is a bit taller, and try to keep a centimeter or 2 open to make sure the shin guard will not be too big. If you are unsure of your size or need some advise, don't hesitate to reach out to us, we're happy to help you!
Size shinguard | Length shin part | Length instep part |
---|---|---|
S | 32 cm | 16 cm |
M | 35 cm | 17 cm |
L | 37 cm | 18 cm |
XL | 39 cm | 19 cm |
What to look for while fitting
Please note the following when selecting your new shin guards:
- The shin protector should fit just below the knee. A shin protector that hits the knee is going to irritate.
- The elastic band under the foot should be quite tight in the beginning as it will stretch the moment you start training and if it fits tight it will not slip.
- The velcro at the back should point outwards with the part that sticks out, if it sticks out this way it will not irritate you during your training. And there is less chance of kicking the velcro loose yourself.
