Tai-Jitsu en Nin-Jitsu

Tai-Jitsu is a form of unarmed fighting. It translates to Tai = body and Jitsu = art or technique, so the art/technique of the body.

The modern Tai-Jitsu also contains techniques from Aikido, Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Karate. By combining elements from the different martial arts, the practitioner can choose the most efficient and effective self-defense possible.

The sport Tai-Jitsu does not contain competitions and is usually practiced in a black Gi, with a belt. Beginners start with the white belt and work their way up.

Nin-Jitsu is the “art of hiding” and also wear the now widely known Ninja’s came from. The techniques that Nin-Jitsu teaches usually contain: staying hidden, espionage, gathering information, disguises, escapes, camouflage, poisons and medicine, explosives and weapons, the weaponless fight, archery and swordfighting.

Because of the many Hollywood films the Ninja’s are now internationally known, but unfortunately there are currently very little practitioners in this many-faceted sport.
