Bo 2.7 Taiwan

In many Asian martial arts, staffs of different lengths are used as a weapon. One of the better known staffs is the 182cm long Bo. It is said that this long fighting staff originates from the staff that farmers used to carry 2 heavy objects on their shoulders. The most well-known Japanese version is the one from the island of Okinawa where it was used in teaching various martial arts, think of among others: Jiu-Jitsu and Tai-Jitsu.
