Butterfly Knives Aluminium

The traditional name of these aluminium knives are Bart Cham Dao or Baat Jaam Do. They can be used by different Kung-Fu styles including Wing Chun. The butterfly knives are often held as 1 knife, after which the knives are distributed over both hands. Especially the aluminium butterfly knives are very suitable for this. It is more difficult to do this move using the Metal butterfly knives.

The blade and the handle are made of one piece and the part that curls around the hand, which is slightly wider than the blade, is made of another piece. This piece, also known as the D ring,  protects the hand. 

Ideally the length of the whole knife should be approximately the same as the length of the forearm .
