Ronin Punching Bag 150cm - Blue or Black

This Ronin Fight-gear punching bag is made of artificial leather. The punching bag has a length of 150cm and a diameter of 35cm. The bag is not only suitable for punching but also for kicking. The bag will swing more and a bit sooner than a 180cm punching bag, because it is a little lighter, especially by performing low kicks.
When hanging the bag, please make sure that there is enough space around the bag for you to move around, but also for the punching to swing a little bit. Movement is unavoidable, but when you hit the bag when it is still swinging toward you, you can minimise the swinging of the bag. When you hit the bag when it is already moving away from you, it will move more than necessary. 

Filling

The Ronin punching bags are machinally filled with shredded fabric, carpet and artificial grass shreds or snippets. This makes the bag a bit heavier and also harder than hand-filled punching bags. 
All the different sort of shreds are purchased new and are free of mold and unpleasant smells. This filling provides a good absorption for your hands, feet and legs. When the top of the punchbag starts to look like a point, it's time to refill your bag. This can be done with tiny fabric shreds or snippets. 
Keep in mind that the shreds are not suited for permanently hanging outdoors. The moisture (from dew, rain and condensation) can cause the stitching to weaken and the fabric inside of the bag to form mildew. We recommend to always take your bag down and inside when you are done training.

Handling manual punching bag

To ensure a long life span of our punching bags, below we have listed a number of important things to keep in mind.

• Make sure the punching bag is regularly refilled and that the top is always well stocked. If the punching bag is not filled correctly the straps could tear due to excessive stress.
• Do not drag the punching bag over the floor, holding it by the D-rings. The rings are not suited for that and could come off.
• Don't pull-up the punching bag using the D-ring. The D-rings can tear.
• Hanging up and taking down the punching bag always has to be done by two people. The punching bag is too heavy for one person alone.
• Don't drop the punching bag when it is taken down. This is extremely bad for the zipper and the stitching.
• Never drop the punching bag from a stabding position to the floor. This also is extremely bad for the zipper and the stitching.
• By hanging up the punching bag, it's important to check that all four hooks of the chain are properly placed before releasing the bag. The punching bag is not balanced when the hooks are incorrect attached.
• Make sure that the open side of the hooks of the chain are pointing outwards.
• It is recommended to squeeze the hooks of the punching bag firmly with pliers to avoid the punching bag coming off during a more intense workout.
